Rainy days are probably gone for the remainder of this year. We have had one day of 100 degrees , and two recent 90 degree days. Today the temperature will fall to a pleasant 84. A breeze blows through the trees and Mockingbirds swoop through the yard. On high alert, watching their territory like a hawk. Baby Mockingbirds must be nearby in nests. I have not been dived upon yet, but I am waiting in anticipation. My parents, who live on the other side of our city of 250,000, are being attacked as they leave their front door. Raining in sunny California tonight and I am loving it. We don't get enough rain here and wintertime days are usually grey and foggy, resulting in visual deprivation. Going on a "field trip" into San Francisco on Saturday with two fellow Deviants. Hope to get in to the new Cal Academy of Science to see the living roof, designed by Renzo Piano, and check out the resident albino alligator. Will take sketch book and digital camera. Should be working on a painting but think I'll jump to Fox and catch Monday night's latest "24" on the web.
